Prep Visit to Queenscliff Marine Discovery Centre

Both of our Prep classes visited the Queenscliff Marine Discovery Centre on Wednesday 28th August.
They learned about rock pools and marine life, focusing on different features of living things and the places they live to meet their basic needs, such as food, water and shelter. This hands-on experience included exploring the touch tank, where students interacted with different marine life and learned about the creatures found in rock pools.

Support Endangered Animals Casual Dress Day
In Week 8, on Friday, 12th September, our Grade 3 and 4 students will be showcasing their incredible research on endangered animals! 🦏🌿
They’ve been learning about these beautiful creatures and the many ways WE can all help protect them.
🎨 Dress Code: All students are invited to wear a splash of animal colours or prints. Don’t forget to bring a gold coin donation to support this important cause!
📚 Throughout the day, classes will head to the Multipurpose Room to discover the fascinating animals researched by our Grade 3 and 4 students. 🦓🐒
Everyone will have the chance to vote for their favourite presentation that has inspired them the most, helping us raise awareness for these incredible species that need our help.
💖 Let’s come together to speak up for those who have no voice.
All donations raised will go directly to charities supporting these endangered animals.
📅 Mark your calendars – Friday, 12th September – and let's make a difference together! 🌏💚
Pippin The Musical!
Our very own Jude Walsdorf of 4B and his Mum Jessie performed in Pippin The Musical recently. Jude played the character Theo and Jessie played Fastrada.

Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club runs every morning and is staffed by one of our amazing Education Support members.
We’re looking for enthusiastic and caring volunteers to help out with our school’s Breakfast Club, just one morning per week for 20 minutes. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, or community member, your support can make a big difference in giving our students a positive, nourishing start to their day. With more support we can start to look at broadening the range of breakfast options for students so that they can start the day with a healthy full belly!
If you’re interested or would like more information, please contact Daryl Farnham or leave your details at the school office.
Thank you for helping us support our students!
Bark Land Donations
Bark Land is looking a bit bare! The purpose of this area is to allow students to imagine and create their own fun activities using a range of sustainable and recycled materials.
We are always looking to update items for this space so we are reaching out to you to ask for any donations that would be suitable for primary school students to build/create/play with. We are also putting the call out to local businesses so hopefully we can add some really cool items to this space.
Examples of materials could be;
- Plastic milk crates
- Plastic guttering
- Cable drums
- Giant rope
- Shade cloth
- Plastic barrels
- Large tyres
- Any other items that may be safe and suitable
