🌿 Liturgical Prayer Boxes in Every Classroom 🌿

Next week, each class will receive a Liturgical Prayer Box containing prayer cloths in the different liturgical colours used throughout the Church year (e.g., green for Ordinary Time, purple for Lent/Advent, white for Easter/Christmas, red for Pentecost and feast days).

Students will be engaging in learning about the liturgical seasons during their Religious Education lessons, helping them understand the significance of these colours in our faith life.

Each class will also have Prayer Monitors, chosen from the SRC students, who will be responsible for caring for their classroom Prayer Box and Prayer Table. Their role will include ensuring the prayer space is tidy, appropriately set up, and that the prayer cloth reflects the correct liturgical season. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to take ownership of their class prayer space and to deepen their connection to the rhythms of the Church year.
