Platypus Classroom

Tyler - Corey and I attended Year 3 School Camp at Dubbo this week.

"On Tuesday Corey and I attended Year 3 camp where we went to Dubbo. We spent 1 night and 2 days there. We had the best time and done so many activities. A few of our favourite activities were the obstacle course, it was very tricky but lots of fun!

We also got to go to the Dubbo Zoo; my favourite animal was the Cheetah. After our full day of activities, we had afternoon tea and once it got dark, we put our head lamps on and went outdoors, we looked up into the trees and spotted some amazing wildlife such as possums and koalas.

We then used our headlights and placed them in the ponds to see what creatures we could find; we don't know the name of the creatures as they were too small to identify". Tyler

Harrison - Today in Science we spoke about plastic and non-plastic objects, Mrs Watson then gave us 5 minutes to find objects in the classroom that may be 100% made of plastic or may only have a small amount of plastic in it.

We found heaps!!
