2025 Head of the River

Congratulations to Team sVc on a fantastic performance at the2025 Head of the River. Our athletes showcased outstanding talent and determination, and we couldn’t be prouder of their performances.

sVc dominated the junior events, securing the Aggregate Junior Shield for the 5th consecutive year. Our Year 9 team excelled, winning every Division One race.

For the first time in 31 years, sVc raced in the Opens 8+ race with Years 11 and 12 students. Cheered on by thousands of supporters, their race was nothing short of exhilarating, as they competed fiercely and narrowly missed out on 2nd place by a mere 0.4 seconds.

The dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship displayed by our students throughout the day were truly inspiring with war cries ringing loud and clear from the sVc tent.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our coaches, supporters, and families for their unwavering encouragement and support.

Congratulations once again to Team sVc for a fantastic Head of the River.
