Young Artists Apron Design Contest
As part of our fundraising efforts for the School Musical we will be selling Sacred Heart Aprons. We are looking for all the talented artists of Sacred Heart to design it with the theme ‘What makes Sacred Heart so special?' Students were all given a copy of the template they need to draw their design on and hand it into the office by March 24.
New Imaginary Play Tubs
Exciting news! After requests for more imaginary play options for our students in Prep to Year 3, the PA has purchased some imaginary play kits for students to play with at recess and lunch. These kits will have different play themes: Food/Cooking, Doll Pretend Play, Dr/Vet, Fairy and Sensory Play. The kits will be held in the Year Level classrooms and will be rotated each term. If the kits are successfully used and looked after we will aim to continue to build these kits for the students to play with.

Sacred Heart Meals Service
What is the meals service?
The Sacred Heart Meals Service is available to all Sacred Heart families that require some practical help in the form of meals at a time of need. This may be due to a very happy occasion such as a new birth in the family, or in more difficult circumstances such as a death or illness in a family.
How does it work?
The Meals Service Coordinators can be contacted by a teacher, class rep, member of the Parents Association, a friend within the school or the family members themselves. The coordinators would then contact the family to chat about what would be helpful (e.g. how often, favourite meals, dietary requirements etc) and then coordinate the service, requesting assistance from the relevant year level.
It’s important to note that we are very careful in being discreet at all times and maintaining confidentiality, ensuring the family are happy with what information (if any) is passed on to those we are asking to assist.
