Learning in Grade 5!

It's been a busy Term 1 for our Grade 5s! We have settled into our new classes and we are learning lots of new things. In English, we started our first class novel (The Witches by Roald Dahlin 5A and The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate in 5B) and wrote our own narratives and persuasive texts. In Maths, we revised different concepts in number, measurement and probability and made an All About Me Maths poster.

In Wellbeing, we were reminded of the UR Strong foundations for healthy friendships and created candy heart affirmations to celebrate self-love. In Integrated, we enjoyed our Voices of the People unit with an interactive incursion and level of government fact balls.
