Principal's Report

“Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students, and enthusiastic parents with high expectations.” – Bob Beauprez

Student Support Group (SSG) Meetings

It has been wonderful to see parents onsite, collaborating with our teachers and leadership team during the SSG meetings. These meetings are essential in discussing your child’s goals and the targets set in their Individual Education Plans. Many meetings have already taken place, and we appreciate your engagement in these valuable discussions. If you have an upcoming meeting, we encourage you to attend to ensure the best outcomes for your child’s education.

Arriving Late & Early Pickups Survey

A big thank you to all the families who have completed the survey on students arriving late and being picked up early. If you haven’t done so yet, please take the time to fill it out and send it back. Your feedback is crucial in helping us understand and address these challenges effectively.

Swimming Program

Our swimming program is in full swing, and the students are thoroughly enjoying their lessons. However, please be aware that on rare occasions, due to staff absences, we may be unable to run swimming sessions. While this is an infrequent occurrence, we appreciate your understanding.

Additionally, please remember to send your child’s swimming gear each session. It can be very disappointing for children if we are unable to locate spare equipment.

If your child is well enough to attend school but still recovering from a cold, staff may decide to prevent them from swimming to reduce the risk of infection and to ensure they do not become more unwell. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping all students healthy and safe.

Staffing Update

A warm welcome to our new staff members- Toni, Cheyenna and Fiona. We are excited to have them join our team and look forward to their contributions to our school community.

Looking forward to another productive fortnight ahead.

Warm regards,

Lindy
