Welcome

In this first edition of MY FUTURE Career Pathways News for 2025, I hope that all students are enjoying this very busy term. This year our newsletter will bring students many opportunities in the sphere of careers, pathways, education and job readiness skills. I encourage you to subscribe to the newsletter to have it delivered to your inbox.
The year in Career Pathways started with the Year 12 cohort attending an Immersion to the city where they visited Australian Catholic University (ACU) for an insight into tertiary study, with a focus on Nursing and Health. Students also attended the University of Melbourne for a Science focus tour and lectures. RMIT was the choice of students with a Business focus. Collarts highlighted courses and careers in the Visual and Digital Arts, and finally students attended Victoria University where they toured the City Building and focused on vocational outcomes, with an emphasis on Hair and Beauty. This experience ensures that students are well informed as they investigate options beyond CLC in their final year of school.
Students in Year 10, 11 and 12 now have easy access to this newsletter via their Year level Careers Page on CLC Connect. I encourage you to remind them of important Career Pathways information distributed via this platform.
