Classroom Helpers Workshop - Thursday 27th February  (9.00am to 10.00am)

Sacred Heart invites parents and volunteers to participate in the Classroom Helpers workshop to assist in classrooms and accompany students on excursions. Each year, we run a Parent Helper Course, designed to prepare parents and volunteers to work alongside the classroom teacher in supporting students. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get involved and make a positive impact on our students' learning experience. We look forward to seeing you there!

NAPLAN

NAPLAN is an annual assessment for students in Years 3, 5, 7, and 9, helping parents/carers and educators to see how students are progressing in literacy and numeracy over time, individually, as part of their school community, and against national standards.  

NAPLAN tests are one aspect of each school’s assessment and reporting process and do not replace the extensive, ongoing assessments made by teachers about each student’s performance. Each teacher will have the best insight into their students’ educational progress. 

The NAPLAN testing window runs from Wednesday 12th March to Monday 24th March.

Our Year 3 and Year 5 students have been actively engaging in refining their skills in preparation for the upcoming NAPLAN assessment.  

We have set our dates for 2025 NAPLAN assessment:

           Writing:      Wednesday 12th March

           Reading:    Thursday 13th March

           Conventions of Language: Friday 14th March

           Numeracy:   Monday 17th March
