Senior Boys Cricket

On Tuesday the 11th of Feb our Senior boys cricket team faced off against other local schools in the Black Range Cricket competition.

A very sluggish start on a rather wet wicket saw our boy’s collapse very quickly to be all out for a very cheap total, whilst the batters blamed wet conditions, some very poor shot selection proved to be their biggest enemy, Lutheran collage chased down the total under 8 overs.

Our next game saw a tight bowling display restrict Murtoa college to a low total of 42, Harry Millar was the pick of the bowlers at one stage being on a hat trick but narrowly missing the opportunity. A well guided batting session from Monty Wynn lead to a comfortable victory in game 2.

The 3rd and final game of the day saw Horsham college take on St Brigid’s collage, A game that was played in fantastic spirits by both teams. St Bs batted first putting up a great fight to set a decent target for the college boys. A comfortable run chase saw our boys come out on top to end an enjoyable day.
