NAPLAN

NAPLAN 2025

NAPLAN assesses literacy and numeracy skills that students are learning through their regular school curriculum. Students sit assessments in writing, reading, conventions of language (spelling, grammar and punctuation) and numeracy which is linked to the

Victorian Curriculum: English and Mathematics.  Each assessment takes the students around 45 minutes to complete.

The NAPLAN testing period begins for students in Yr 3 and in Yr 5 on Wednesday 12th March with a writing task. The students will then complete the other assessments (Reading, Conventions of Language and Numeracy) on the following days. There is a small window where catch up assessment is possible. Each assessment will be scheduled in the morning of the school day.

Further information regarding NAPLAN will be sent out to Year 3 and Year 5 parents and carers in the coming week.
