Specialists STEM - Mr Brown

Welcome to STEM 2025. It is going to be an exciting year in STEM covering topics such as forces, circuits, electricity, magnets, heat, light, sustainability, weather, space, plants and animals. Plenty of technology including robotics and coding as well as some engineering where we will design, create and test our experiments. So much to look forward to and so much fun learning to be done.
Note for the year 1/2 students – in week 4 and 5 I am asking all students to bring with them to their STEM lesson 1 or 2 toys. They are going to be toys to demonstrate push and pull movements. The toys will be used by the whole class, so make sure you are willing to share the toys. Please no electronics or remote vehicles. Names on the toys will be helpful, but I will make sure everything is looked after.
Note for the year 3/4 students – in week 4 we are going to be doing an experiment that needs students to supply one part of our equipment. A box is needed for this experiment – for example a pizza box or a shoe box.
Thank you all for your assistance with these lessons.
