On Tuesday 18th February, 19 year 9 and 10 students were given the opportunity by the Nagambie Rowing club to go rowing on Lake Nagambie. Daniel Thompson, Leigh Mcintyre  and Mario Laing were the teachers in charge of the program and Dave Andrews from Nagambie Rowing club helped with coaching.

The year 10 boys went out in singles and had a great time; a couple of the students learning to get back on a single scull after capsizing their boat, which was great.

The year 9 girls went out in one quadruple scull and the year 9 boys went in another. The students behaved perfectly and had a lot of fun on the day. They helped pack up at the end and were rewarded with a trip to the shops for some fish and chips.

Next rowing session will be on 27th February.
