Captain's Corner

As we move through 2025, the Gazette team are eager to profile some of our student leaders- Continuing in this edition with Layla Insley.

My name is Layla Insley, I'm in Year 11, and I am absolutely thrilled to be your Diversity & Inclusion Prefect for 2025! My goal is to create a safe, positive space for everyone to be themselves. 

I have 2 dogs (Sooty and Sweep), 2 cats (Kira and Lilith), and a fish (I can't remember its name, I've had a lot of fish lol). I love singing, reading, gaming, and playing Dungeons & Dragons (for all you adventurers out there, I'm playing a Fire Genasi Paladin). Basically, I'm a huge nerd. 

I love making new friends and helping people out if they have a problem or want to bring something to my attention. So, if you're having an issue or have something to say to improve the school community, please don't hesitate to reach out!
