What a fun few weeks we have had in the 3/4 area!
STEM Excursion to Pascoe Vale Girls:
On Friday 30th of May, the 3/4s were invited to the Pascoe Vale Girls College for a science fair excursion hosted by RMIT University. The RMIT University students were helping the Year 9 and 10 girls run different programs related to STEM. The students participated in many hands on activities at many different stations. Some of the stations included:
- Thermal imaging exploration with a temperature pinpoint tool
- Conductors and insulators - making candy
- Colour codes Ozobots
- Total station height measurer
The students had a great time and learnt lots of new things about STEM.
House Colours Event:
On Thursday last week, the whole school got into their House Teams and participated in a variety of team building and sport activities, including relay races, charades, poison ball and musical statues.
