Year 5/6 Learning Reflection

This week during the Literacy block the Grade 5/6 students completed their work based on the serial read 'Can You See Me?'. 

The Grade 5A students enjoyed responding to the interesting vocab in the text.

5B published  their chosen writing pieces, based on the theme of the text. Keep an eye out for their pieces to be displayed outside their classroom. 

And 6A and 6B proudly displayed their persuasive letters for leadership to read, hoping to persuade Mr Anthony, Mr David and Miss McMahon to get the school a therapy dog or upgrade the oval. 

The Grade 5 students had an awesome day at the Royal Botanic Gardens recently, finding out about Wellbeing in nature. 

Our Grade 6 Sustainability leaders have been busy spreading the word about composting. They have been visiting classes to let students know what they should and should not add to the class composting bins. The leaders created a posted to be displayed as a reminder to everyone. 

This term has been a very busy and productive one. Have a lovely break. We look forward to working with you all in Term 2.
