Reminders!

School holiday training break for all squads

  • Please take note of the following training break dates:

    - April 6th - 21st:during the school holiday there will be no training for any squads and no holiday clinics will be offered. This time of the year marks the end of the 2024-2025 season with Nationals taking place from April 10-18. Training will resume for all squads at the start of term 2 (Tuesday, April 22nd).  Please note there are 2 public holidays the first week of term2 - Monday, April 21 and Friday, April 25th - there will be NO training on these days.

     

    - National and National Target squads:  training break will beApril 10 - 27th 

Coaching and access fees during the holidays/training break

  • Coaching fees: will continue to be charged every fortnight, even during the school holidays when your swimmer is not training. Because Maroondah Leisure cannot start and stop fees at the beginning and end of each term, we take the total amount for the 40/48 weeks of training and average it out across 52 weeks/26 fortnights. This means you will pay coaching fees every fortnight, even when your kids are not swimming, but the overall price is the same. Please note that coaching fees can only be suspended with a medical certificate, not for family holidays, etc.
  • Access fees: if your swimmer has a Swim Plus or Fitness Plus Teen membership, you can suspend it for any period of time that you will be away over the holidays. You can put a 'freeze' in place via the online client portal or you can visit reception.

New squad allocations and timetable for term 2

Be sure to check your Operoo emails to see what squad your swimmer has been allocated to in the new squad structure for term 2. Timetables have also been sent. If required, please reply to Lesley before April 12th with your preferred days for sessions.

RSC Club Bowling: Don't forget to sign up for Club Bowling on Friday, April 25th via trybooking 

It's that time of year again – Club Bowling is coming up! Come along for a fun afternoon with your squad mates! This is a great way to get to know swimmers outside of the pool and build new friendships. Siblings are very welcome to attend and join in the fun!

 

When: Friday, April 25th (Anzac Day) @2:30pm

Location: Oz Tenpin, Chirnside Park

Cost: $31/player - includes 2 games of bowling, 3 nuggets, chips and cordial
