The latest news!

Dear Parents, Carers and Supporters of St Joseph’s School,

Staff Professional Learning

A heartfelt thank you to all families for their support last week as staff engaged in professional learning. Over three days, our team explored the learning process, the way we think, and the influence of the environment on learning.

In the coming weeks, we look forward to applying this knowledge in our classrooms, creating enriching experiences for our learners. We hope families notice the impact of our learning, shaping a dynamic and engaging educational journeys for all.

Catholic Education Week – Join the Celebration!

Next week (Week 3) marks Catholic Education Week, and we are excited to welcome our community to share in the joy of learning. Our classrooms are buzzing with engagement, and we invite everyone to see firsthand the enthusiasm of our students and teachers.

Here's what’s planned for the week for all school children:

📅 Tuesday – Wear PINK to celebrate our mothers and mother figures.

🎉 Wednesday – It’s CRAZY HAIR DAY! Students can come with wild hairstyles but must wear their school uniform.

🎒 Thursday & Friday – Grade 3/4 Camp—time to start packing!

We look forward to celebrating together and showcasing the vibrant learning happening at our school!

We are delighted to welcome Kris Fellows as a Specialist teacher at St Joseph’s. Kris brings a fresh approach to the curriculum, exploring different focus areas each term. This journey begins with fibre, followed by sustainability, offering students engaging and dynamic learning experiences. We look forward to seeing the innovative ways Kris will inspire and challenge our students for the rest of the year.
