Alison Harcourt Award

On Thursday 23rd November, Zahara and Lara (6A) were awarded the first ever Alison Harcourt Award by Dr Monique Ryan.

This award was to recognise young people in Kooyong who have demonstrated outstanding community service or citizenship.

Alison Harcourt is a Kooyong local born in 1929, who paved pathways in STEM for women all over the world. She developed integer linear programming – the basis of computer processing which led to the development of logistics, telecommunications, ecology, and medicine.

It was a great celebration of young leaders, and Zahara and Lara were very much valued members of the ASPS community who proudly accepted their awards.

Congratulations, and a big thank you to Zahara and Lara for their exceptional leadership and service to our community!

Summer Robotics Program at Auburn South - Jan 15 to 16

HATS ON in Term 4

Students are required to wear a hat when outdoors in Term 4 and Term 1.

Unfortunately, UV exposure during childhood and adolescence has a big impact on future skin cancer risk.

If your child does not have an Auburn South sun hat, please purchase one from our Uniform Shop in person on Friday morning or via Flexischools.

Students will need to remain in the shade at break times if they do not have a hat on.
