Program Support Meetings- Term 4

Thank you to the parents and carers for their contributions to our PSG meetings over the past weeks. We appreciate your continued support of your children.

Please keep a close eye on your email inbox (and junk inbox) for correspondence following these meetings.

Thank You and Farewell

As the 2024 school year comes to a close, I would like to extend a big thank you to the parent community of Sacred Heart. It has been an honour and privilege to have taught and supported your children at various levels across Grade Prep to Grade Six.

This might be my farewell but I leave you in very good hands. The staff at Sacred Heart are a unique bunch of people. Jack Lenaghan and Jane Daffy are incredible leaders who support the very dedicated classroom teachers. I have been fortunate to work alongside our amazing office staff, Learning Support Officers and specialist teachers who provide the children with the best environment and opportunities to 'Have Fun and Learn Stuff'. Thanks to Father Michael for the love, care and kindness that he models in our school, parish and wider community.

I appreciate the support of our Catholic Education Ballarat staff, especially Kate Sadler, Miranda Pearse and Tegan Bell. We are very lucky to have these professions work with us. Thank you also to the team at Talk to Me Allied Health and other visiting professionals who support many of our families. Again, I am grateful for the service and expertise that they provide to Colac.

I am excited for this next chapter of my career as a teacher at St. Mary's in Geelong. Colac will always be 'home' to me and I look forward to crossing paths with you all again. Lucy Moynihan and Jaci Davis will take over my role as Learning Diversity Leaders in 2024. As always, please do not hesitate to contact the school, Lucy or Jaci if you need anything.

I wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas with your loved ones. Take care.
