Literacy Celebrations at Westgrove

Over the past few weeks, the Year Fours have been learning about developing their reading comprehension. They have focused on making connections, predicting, asking questions, clarifying vocabulary and summarising, They have been working in small groups and discussing different texts their reading strategies. 

Students have also been learning to take notes from online resources to navigate websites. They have been recording key information about a chosen country, in particular, focusing on their sustainable practices.
