Principal's Desk

Dear Parents,

As we enter the final week of our school year and publish our last school newsletter for 2023, I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks and gratitude for such a successful school year. To the countless volunteers that have contributed to the life of our school this year - thank you! At Holy Trinity we are extremely fortunate to have so many people who give so generously of their time and talents. It is an absolute pleasure and privilege to be a school leader in the HT community.  So once again, thank you!

A special thank you to our dedicated and hardworking staff. The staff at Holy Trinity strive to provide the best learning environment to meet the individual needs of all students in our school. They have a strong commitment to professional learning, a true example of what it means to be life-long learners. Being a teacher can be extremely challenging but also incredibly rewarding. I am most grateful for the support of all staff in working towards our school motto; `Love One Another’.

Finally, thank you most of all to our amazing students at HT and SMC. It has been a pleasure to lead you as School Principal and to observe and acknowledge the academic, social and spiritual growth in so many of our students.

We look forward to acknowledging and celebrating the primary school journey of our Year 6 students this Thursday evening at the Graduation Mass and Ceremony. They have been a wonderful cohort of students throughout their time at HT and been great role models and leaders of our school this year.

I would like to acknowledge the following families who will be leaving HT at the end of this year. I would like to thank them for entrusting our staff for the education and care of their child. I would also like to thank them for their many and varied contributions to our community - thank you!

Sad News

We received a call today to inform us that our local crossing supervisor, Robyn, passed away suddenly after a very short illness. Robyn has been looking after our students for a number of years on our Riddell Road crossing and knew a number of students and parents by name. We will reach out to the local council to offer our condolences to her colleagues and family.

SIMON / PAM

We are finally ready to go live! ALL parents today should have received an email (simon@htws.catholic.edu.au) that contains instructions and a link. Please check your JUNK / SPAM. You will be required to create a PAM password, allowing you to log in to the browser version of the Parent Access Module (PAM).

Finally, download the SIMON Everywhere App and add our school. Then simply `log in’ using the PAM login details.

For parents who have previously received this email on the 28th November, could you please search your inbox to activate your account. Any problems, please contact the office.

Collection of student medication

Student medication that has been kept at school during 2023 will be ready for collection from the office on the last day of school.   All medication is to be signed  for  by a parent upon collection and returned to school together with updated medical forms for the start of 2024 school year.

Please return library books

Please remind your children that all library books need to be returned before the end of the school year.  Children who do not return their books may not be able to borrow next year.

Newspaper Donations

Mrs Laming from the Art Room would be  most grateful for donations of old newspapers that families no longer require.   Newspapers will be put to good use in the Art Room.  Please leave any newspaper donations at the school office.
