On Thursday 9 November we celebrated the amazing achievements of the Year 7 “Readers’ Cup”. Since April of this year the Year 7 English classes have been recording all their reading in a bid to win the coveted cup as well as writing book reviews that are published on our MRC webpage.
The competition and enthusiasm for reading has been a joy to witness.

Congratulations to all the Year 7s for this mighty effort.
I would also like to thank the Year 7 English teachers: Ms Orfini, Ms Slocombe, Ms Deville & Ms O’Connor for all the support and encouragement they have given.
Also a big thank you to Ms Neill and Ms Salvo for all the help and work they have dedicated in helping set up the “Readers’ Cup”, their efforts are most appreciated.
I would also like to thank all the parents/carers who also encouraged all the reading at home.
