Careers Pop-Up Stand

The annual Careers Pop-Up Stand was a nice way to wrap up the year with an opportunity for students to casually swing by and take some information of interest and reflect on their journey beyond high school. Career conversations took place with a Year 7 student keen on marine biology, Year 9 student eager to study at the University of Sydney, Year 8 students aspiring for the ADF and more!

Post-School Apprenticeship Advice from MEGT

Please see the following information regarding the MEGT Career Hub and their latest job board.

Career Hub is a free service to employers and apprentices.  If students are looking for an apprenticeship after year 12, it’s a great place to register interest with an online toolbox to receive ideas of what qualifications are available.  Additionally, MEGT can help in placing school-based trainees or apprentices.

Also attached is information regarding MEGT’s free and confidential Mentoring Program for apprentices that have been signed with MEGT.  This is a fabulous program to assist apprentices in completing their apprenticeship.
