ONLINE LUNCH ORDERING
Lunch orders are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The new on line ordering process is up and running.
Please log in to QKR and follow the steps.
Lunch orders are all on line. Orders must be placed by 8:30 a.m.
** Please ensure that you are selecting the correct date for your orders. **
LUNCH ORDER ERRORS
We are all enjoying the new Qkr online ordering system from AJ’s Bakery for lunch orders.
We are finding, though, that user error (not following all the steps or selecting the wrong day) is resulting in children are not getting lunch orders. This in turn requires office staff to make lunches for your children. As you can imagine, this is an extremely time consuming and costly effort.
Any orders that are missed will be charged $2 per sandwich. A note will be sent home with your child(ren).
If you are unsure if you have placed your order correctly, you can view the receipts in the Qkr App. You can even get these receipts e-mailed to you.
When ordering lunches, please ensure that:
- The correct date is selected.
- You have followed all of the necessary steps to complete your order.
Thank you for your co-operation.
THE ZOO
On Tuesday the 5th of December, all of the wonderful Grade 5 students went to the Werribee Zoo, we were full of excitement.
There were numerous amounts of animals in various types, such as the ponderous hippopotamus, muscular gorillas, clever monkeys and many more amazing animals with special abilities.
One of the unique activities that most people enjoyed was the long safari ride with different animals on each side. There was a great quantity of interesting animals. The one that caught most of our eyes was the cute baby zebra lying down in front of its mother. At the end, everyone decided that the baby zebra was the best part of the ride. Even with the bumpy roads and stinky smells, everyone still enjoyed the ride as much as anything else.
It was a pleasure for all of us going to the Werribee zoo, especially for the ones who went for the first time!
LOST PROPERTY
There is a HUGE amount of uniforms ending up in lost property.
Please check the lost property area in front of the gym if you have misplaced anything.
Any items without names on them will be donated to our second-hand shop.
Word of the Fortnight
たのしみです (pronounced ‘tanoshimides’) which means ‘Looking forward to’ something is the Japanese Word for Week 10 & 11 of Term 4.
You can use ‘tanoshimides’ when you have something to look forward to. For example, if you’d like to say ‘looking forward to the holidays’, you can say ‘holiday tanoshimides’. Please be aware that you say what you are looking forward to first and ‘tanoshimides’ at the end.
Thank you / ありがとうございます (pronounced ‘aligatoh gozaimas’) for your continuing support for our Japanese program.
