Bring in the movers!

Due to changing numbers at different year levels, there are a few things changing at Valkstone for next year.

As we will have larger numbers of students in our senior levels, we are increasing to 5 classes each in Year 5 and Year 6. This will mean that class numbers will drop from 30/31 students per class, down to 25/26. 

Our Prep numbers for 2024 are currently sitting at 69, which means 3 classes at this level for 2024. 

Changing class numbers and sizes across the school has necessitated a lot of physical movement around the school for next year, with year levels not necessarily being located in the same place that they have been this year. Although our Prep and Year 2 spaces will stay in the same locations, every other year level will be moving to a new location in the school. You will see movers around the school next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, moving tables, chairs and other furniture around.

On Tuesday next week after our step-up session, I look forward to sharing all of the teaching allocations with you, so that you know which teachers are in which level, and in which teaching space.
