Public Speaking
Congratulations to our Year Prep to Year 4 Public Speaking Grand Finalists who all presented superbly to an audience of students and family members yesterday. The quality of speeches was quite incredible, with students speaking confidently, with energy and mostly without notes. We are extremely proud of all of the students, with special mention to the winners of the event:

Prep Info Evening
Last night, we welcomed a packed house of 2024 Prep parents & carers to our November Information Night. We introduced our Prep team of Beth Fletcher and Nan Ternai, who spoke enthusiastically and professionally about the Prep year and answered questions from the audience. We look forward to welcoming the students to our Old Orchard family next year.
Awards Assembly
We are looking forward to the Year 5 & 6 Awards Assembly next week, with a number of special presentations and acknowledgements to our students. The assembly is a special event on our school calendar and also features several musical performances from our students.
Prep Breakfast
Next week also features our annual Prep Breakfast, another exciting event for our students. As always, we are very appreciative of our staff for their commitment and for consistently going above and beyond to provide our students with extra curricular experiences that ensure their school experience is a fulfilling and positive one.

Nan’s wedding
Congratulations to our Year 5 teacher, Nan Ternai and her fiancee, Ben, who are getting married next Friday. We wish them all the best for their special day and for a long, happy and exciting future together.
