Physical Education 2023!

We are both incredibly proud of how students have enthusiastically embraced opportunities in Physical Education this year & achieved great success for the school. They have demonstrated teamwork, commitment, sportsmanship and leadership, whilst (most importantly) having fun, during a wide range of lessons and sporting events. Before we begin the Highlights of 2023, here is some sports news from the last fortnight.

HOOP TIME STATE FINALS – Level 3/4 All Star Girls

State Champions!

Congratulations to our phenomenal Level 3/4 All Star Girls basketball team for their outstanding performance at the State Hoop Time Final in Dandenong last Monday.

Their unwavering effort, teamwork, sportsmanship, skill, and determination throughout the tournament was truly exceptional. After a nail-biting Grand Final, they emerged victorious as State Champions among 600 competing teams.

This remarkable achievement stands as one of our school's greatest sporting moments, creating lasting memories for our talented girls. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible parents whose unwavering support propelled the team through every round of the competition.

Yesterday, we hosted the Grand Finals of our in-school Badminton tournament, which ran throughout Term 4. Over 250 students from Levels 2 to 6 participated in both the junior and senior competitions. In front of a large and very excited crowd, the finalists battled it out, and both Grand Finals were very closely contested from start to finish.

Junior Final Result: Alice Z & Leah D won 15-13 against Crosby W & Reyansh R.
