Universal Magazine Committee

Universal is a vibrant and exciting free quarterly youth magazine designed to provide an authentic representation of youth culture.The Universal Magazine Committee is a group of creative and talented young people who meet monthly to write, edit and design each edition.

Pride Connect

Kingston Youth Services are developing a program for young LGBTQIA+ people aged 18-25 with a connection to the City of Kingston (live, work, study) - and we want to hear from you! 

We are currently accepting expressions of interest and offering consultations (with free coffee!) to hear what you want the program to look like.

Platform 81 Drop In

Platform 81 is open for drop in on Friday afternoons from 3pm to 5pm.

 

We have a safe, inclusive space for young people to engage with our Youth Team and participate in a variety of scheduled activities to promote social opportunities.

 

Drop in is available for young people 12-25 who are linked with City of Kingston (live, work, study).

Aspendale Youth Cove 

Aspendale Youth Cove is a satellite pop-up space providing opportunities for young people to engage with Youth Services and participate in a variety of activities. 

 

Art Mondays

From 4 - 5.30 pm weekly@ Aspendale Gardens Community Centre 

 

To join, you must be between the ages of 11 and 17 and connected to the City of Kingston (live, work, study)

YA Chat monthly in Parkdale

Kingston Youth Services is committed to providing safe spaces for young people to socialise and engage in various activities.

 

YA Chat is a safe and inclusive space for young people to meet socially and discuss a variety of topics including pop culture, music, TV, podcasts and books.

 

Grab a friend and join our youth team monthly at Parkdale Library.

 

To join, you must be between the ages of 13 and 21 and connected to the City of Kingston (live, work, study)

Did you know Kingston Youth Services provides opportunities throughout the year for young people to complete an accredited short course - fully funded?

 

From barista courses to updating your first aid training - we cover a wide range of skills to help young people upskill for employment.

Talking Kingston - share your ideas

Do you have a great idea to help create an even better Kingston?

 

We're inviting the community to share ideas and feedback, and suggest new projects, facilities and initiatives year-round to help make Kingston the best place to live, work and play.

 

Your ideas and feedback will be used to help draft future Council budgets. Submit your feedback before 31 December to have it considered for the 2024/25 Budget process!Got a great idea you want to share?
