L2P Learner Driver Program at St Augustine’s College
The L2P Learner Driver Program assists young learner drivers in gaining the 120 hours of required driving prior to obtaining their driver licence. The program is available to learners with a Victorian Learner Permit who are aged between 16-21 years and do not have access to either a supervising driver and/or an appropriate vehicle.
The program provides a fully maintained and insured L2P vehicle for the required drives.
Based on the recent success of implementing the program at Rushworth P-12 College and Rochester Secondary College, we are currently working closely with St Augustine’s College to offer the program to eligible students whilst they are attending school. In order to run this program out of the College, we require additional volunteers. The role of the volunteer is to support and guide the learner, and eligible students will benefit from an experienced driver by their side whilst they complete their 120 hours of driving.
If you are looking for a rewarding experience and want to make a difference to the life of a young person at St Augustine’s College, please call Nikki Harris from the L2P Program on 0428 474 014 or alternatively, speak with Michelle Downie at the College.
