Principal's Update

Welcome to the second half of Term 3! What a term we have had already, and we will certainly be finishing it with lots of excitement as well! As we look ahead for the remainder of Term 3 we have lots of upcoming events. With Fathers Day Stall, Fruit Fly Circus Excursion, Fathers Day Breakfast, Mansfield Zoo Excursion, Athletics Day, The Gruffalo Excursion, EMMAC Excursion and the Foodbank Food Fight all still to come this term we are all looking forward to the next few weeks!

Pre-Prep Program

We are very excited to be offering our Pre-Prep Program again in Term 4! Enrolments are closing soon for all 2025 Foundation students. This program has proven to be successful in giving students the opportunity to experience school life and become confident in a school setting. This leads to a smoother transition to their Foundation year and commencement of their schooling journey. All Foundation students enrolled for 2025 have automatically been enrolled in the Pre-Prep Program, if you have not yet enrolled and would like your child to complete the Pre-Prep Program please contact the office on 58721374.

Parent/Teacher Interviews

Our Parent/Teacher Interviews will be held on Thursday 12th August. This is an opportunity for families to meet with their child's teacher to discuss their progress so far this year and their goals for the remainder of the year. Bookings will be available through Compass next week. We ask all families to make a time to meet with their child's teacher. 

Student Learning

We have noticed as we head towards the end of term that students have been coming to school very tired. It is extremely important that students are getting a good night's sleep so that they are ready for learning each day. Research has shown that students who get the proper amount of sleep each night have improved focus and concentration which leads to improved academic performance.
