Our school chess team comprising of Vincent B, Owen W, Jackson Q, and Samuel G represented the school in the fifth round of the New South Wales Junior Chess League against St Bede’s Catholic College, Chisholm. It proved to be a close match against formidable opposition. In the end each team won two games, but St Bede’s won the match on a countback. Our team should be immensely proud of their performance against very impressive opposition.

Our LEGO enthusiasts are busy completing our new kits. Building LEGO helps develop fine motor skills and keeps the brain active. LEGO also gives students a rest from computers and is fun and relaxing to build. We will gladly accept any donations of Lego or the instruction booklets.

The Premier’s Reading Challenge (PRC) is popular with our students. Successful candidates will receive a certificate if they read twenty books, including up to ten books of their own choice. Please email Mr Boyce on andrew.boyce@mn.catholic.edu.au if you would like to register.
