From the Educators

Hi, my name is Georgia and I am one of the educators at this wonderful OSHC service. I have worked here for just over six months, and I have really enjoyed my time as an OSHC educator so far. My time in the Lockleys North OSHC community has been extremely memorable and fun thanks to how inclusive and welcoming all the staff and students are. I have been very lucky to get opportunities to spend time with the students and build positive relationships with each of them. My favourite activities to do with the children are playing netball in the gym, colouring in, and playing UNO.

This week at OSHC our big idea has been the circus, and the children have been busy learning to juggle, creating obstacle courses outdoors and making colourful clown masks. It has been lovely to watch the children share their creations and bond as they discuss their favourite memories of their experiences at the circus with one another. As the weather has been getting warmer, the children have been spending more time outside playing games on the playground and sports on the oval. I have really enjoyed watching the students play collaboratively and get creative when thinking of new games to play outdoors. Ensuring children have fun and feel welcomed at OSHC is a priority for us educators so each child can make positive and happy memories with one another.

I am looking forward to watching the children grow and flourish as the year continues!
