Learning and Curriculum Primary - Stage 3

Open Classrooms Invitation 

We are incredibly proud of the learning that takes place each day in Years 5 and 6, and we would love to share this with parents and carers at our Open Classroom events this term. Years 5 and 6 parents and carers are warmly invited to visit their son’s classroom on the following dates: 

• Year 5 – Wednesday 18 September        8:45 AM - 9:30 AM 
• Year 6 – Thursday 19 September             8:45 AM - 9:30 AM 

We ask that parents/carers wait in the Powell Pavilion and allow students and staff to move to class on the bell at 8:35 AM, before joining them at 8:45 AM. 

Interschool Public Speaking Competition 

On Monday 9 September we welcomed students from Santa Sabina College for the second running of our Interschool Public Speaking Competition. We were also fortunate to have been joined by former College Deputy Headmaster, Mr Michael Robson, who adjudicated the event. Congratulations to all the students who delivered their speeches with confidence and enthusiasm, and in particular, Raymond N.  

Year 6 STEM Gala Day 

Last Wednesday, our Year 6 students enjoyed a visit to Santa Sabina College for a STEM Gala Day. The day was an incredible success, with students having the opportunity to hear from inspiring guest speakers, use Lego robots and Spheros and make connections with new peers. We greatly appreciate the hospitality and organisation by Santa Sabina who made this an enjoyable day for all.
