Grade 4 | Myrtle

As part of Science week the year fours were kindly invited along to Mackillop College Catholic School to participate in some exciting Science experiments in the Science labs.  Students were able to buddy up with the year 8 students and have a go at a couple of different experiments. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mackillop and getting a glimpse into high school life and the exciting world of Science. 

Here is what some of our students had to say about their visit to MacKillop

Barbara – We traced each other’s body and then put the organs in the place where they go. We also did a quiz with pictures under a microscope and guessed what they were.

Lucie – I liked looking at all things under the microscope. I really liked my Mackillop partner Dan, it was fun.

Logan – I liked the anatomy part of the science class because we had to guess where all the organs were in the body and then draw them onto the butcher’s paper.

Hamish – I liked how we got to get random partners and it was fun tracing other people’s

bodies. I had lots of fun.
