Grade 3 | Blackwood

In Grade 3 Blackwood we have recently completed our book study on Charlotte’s Web and we are now using this learning to work on building our writing stamina. We have completed a persuasive text convincing Mr Zuckerman to save Wilbur’s life and another convincing Charlotte’s spiderlings not to leave the barn. 

We have also completed a narrative around the bookweek theme “Magic” using dice to randomly choose our setting, characters and items to be included. 

We have really enjoyed creating longer texts and Mrs B has been amazed at how well we have transferred our learning into our writing.
