MACSIS Surveys

Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools – School Improvement Surveys (MACSSIS) are conducted annually for schools in the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne. This year’s MACSSIS window is from Monday 2 September to Friday 20 September 2024.

Today we have sent out to a random selection of families the keys to participate in this survey. This has been sent home with your eldest child. The survey opens on Monday.

We ask that families please help us with this data. The survey takes approximately 20 minutes and gives the school perception data. This data tells us about what different people in a school community think and feel about their learning environment. It helps us to continually improve our school.

Swimming Tomorrow

Tomorrow (Friday) is water safety day and students need to bring some clothes as per below as well as their bathers.

The following years will need to bring  clothing for Water Safety; 

Prep - T-shirt 

Year 1/2 - T-shirt 

Year 3/4- T-shirt 

Year 5/6 - Long Sleeved Shirt + Long Pants 

Please send a plastic bag for the children to put these wet clothes in when they change.

Important Reminder: School Closure Day - Friday, September 6

As previously mentioned in our weekly newsletter calendar, please be reminded that Friday, September 6, is a scheduled school closure day. On this day, our staff will be engaging in professional development focused on Laudato Si and the pedagogies of teaching Religious Education.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we dedicate this time to enhancing our teaching practices.

Premier's Reading Challenge

A reminder that the challenge finishes in 2 weeks on Friday 6th September. Please have all reading recorded in the website by Thursday 5th September to allow me time to verify all books.
