National Tree Planting Day

At St Joseph's we believe we need to take action and become Stewards of the Earth.  Our Aim is to plant 2000 indigenous plants by the end of term 3. This will help us continue to create a biodiverse green space at our school. 

Amazing St Joe’s community every student planted and families and friends can to help throughout the day. 

Thank you to Morning Shire for funding over 1500 plants through the climate action grant. 

Thank you to Western Port Biosphere for donating 500 plants from Willum Warrain.  

Thank you to Bunning for sending a crew of volunteers to lend a hand.

Thank you to Bittern IGA for keeping the volunteers feed with burgers.

Thank you to Hastings Bakers Delight for providing a yummy morning tea for the volunteers. 

Thanks to Coles and Kmart for donating some gift vouchers so we could purchase some paint for the day.
