Book Week has finally arrived, this is an exciting time for schools and libraries. This years theme is ‘Reading is Magic’

School Book Parade: Monday, 19th August

The parade will take place on the main playground, Parents and Carers are welcome to attend Students are encouraged to dress up as their favourite book characters and join the parade. We will also be running a book donation table where you can donate a book to our library.

Author Visit: On Tuesday, 20th August, we are excited to have Leslie Gibbes visit  our school. She has written titles such as Searching for Cicadas, Scary Night, On the Hunt for Santa and the Fizz series. 

Book Week Library Activities: Students in K-6 will  continue to read books from the shortlist and participate in learning activities related to these texts. These activities will integrate all key learning areas, combining both educational and fun elements.
