Students helping to weed the garden beds in readiness for planting the potatoes and carrot seeds. We started this in Term One but with the swimming program in Term Two and quite a bit of inclement weather, the weeding became a slow process. Now in Term Three we are back on track. The students have been synergizing so well together. They have been very proactive in helping weed the beds and dispose of the green waste in the green bins. We talk constantly regarding the whole process of growing plants and what is required to help maintain optimum growth. Once the seeds are all planted, we will do daily checks to watch the growth and water when required. This will also be a space that any student can go to and help water the plants and maintain the garden beds. The students have done an amazing job!
