Aussie of the Month

Aussie of the Month

Congratulations to our July Aussie of the Month Bawi Cing.

Aussie of the Month is awarded to a student each month that demonstrates the qualities of fairness, mateship, respect and inclusion.

Bawi Cing is a student who consistently displays the school values of being respectful, responsible and a dedicated learner. On top of this she will always put others before herself and will make sure that everyone around her is organised, has everything they need and will go out of her way to help her classmates and teachers. She will play with everyone and anyone. She is polite, waits her turn, loves to learn and always shares what she has learnt with the class. Despite what may be going on, Bawi Cing always has a smile and tries her best at everything. Bawi Cing, you are kind, caring, positive, enthusiastic and hard working.

During production, Bawi Cing knew exactly the order of the lines that the children should stand in and would always help organise the class. If someone was nervous, Bawi Cing would help them and stand by them. In class, Bawi Cing will show that she is respectful by always being a focused listener, no matter where she is sitting. She is the first to sit on the floor ready to learn and is often the last to leave the classroom because she will look for things to pack up. She is interested in other people and will always ask questions about them. Bawi Cing, thank you for being such a wonderful student of our school.

At GRPS we believe it is important to acknowledge students that are actively contributing to our community in a positive way and are consistently

demonstrating our school values of respect, responsibility and a learner.
