From the Principal's desk

On the 18th of August I attended the Kyabram Fauna Park with the Prep to Year 2 students. We were very lucky with the weather and a lot of the animals were out and about. All of the groups had a fantastic time and were very engaged during our education session.

I have been so lucky to be the adjudicator for many of the 3/4 and 5/6 debates over the last week. It has blown me away with how prepared and confident the students have been. The groups have organised themselves and followed the correct debating structure. Congratulations to all of the students who participated.  I am really looking forward to the 5/6 final on Wednesday this week, good luck to both teams!

I really enjoyed the Term 2 Principal's lunch alongside the recipients. It was great listening to the reasons why they had received an invitation and the general chat during this time. Thank you to Tam and Louise for organising and providing the delicious food for the students to eat.

Events coming up:

Friday the 1st of September, Father's Day Brekkie and stall. We invite all dad's or special people to come along for an egg and bacon sandwich or sausage in bread. There will be some games and even a three-legged race for some fun. On Tuesday the 12th of September the staff will be heading along to other schools to complete observations as part of their professional practice. On this day students are not required at school and TheirCare will be available.
