Box Hill Institute is hosting a free immersive on campus “Nursing Boot Camp”, where students will experience what it is like in the day of the life of an Enrolled Nurse. This will be a great opportunity for students to have some hands on learning and give them more insight into a career in nursing. 

Student’s will: 

• Learn to perform CPR
• Understand the significance of hygiene and self-protection in the workspace
• Acquire the knowledge to take a blood pressure reading
• Identify the personality traits suited for a nursing career
• Explore the potential career paths for Enrolled Nurses

Nursing Camp details: 

• 10am – 3.30pm
• Thursday 21 September – Box Hill campus (Elgar)
• Friday 22 September – Lilydale campus
• Dress is casual and comfortable, with closed toe shoes e.g. runners
• BYO lunch

Due to the structure of the day, we only 25 places available at each campus, registrations will be taken on a first-in best dressed basis.
