Message From Our Principal

Mrs Jackie Stockdale

Celebrating Father's Day with our families over a delicious breakfast was truly a wonderful and heartwarming experience. Gathering together on this special day allowed us to express our love and appreciation for the fathers in our lives in a meaningful way. As we sat around, sharing laughter and stories, the aroma of sizzling bacon filled the air, creating a cozy atmosphere that felt like home. The breakfast was not just a meal; it was a symbol of the love, care, and gratitude we hold for our dads. It reminded us of the importance of cherishing these moments, for they are a testament to the strong bonds and connections we share as a family. Father's Day breakfasts are not just about the food; they are about the love and togetherness that make our families truly special.

I would like to thank all the families who embraced the Father's Day Raffle and dedicated their time and effort to selling tickets. Your unwavering support has played a vital role in raising funds for our school community. It's truly inspiring to witness the collective commitment and enthusiasm that each of you has shown. We raised $1276

The excitement that courses through our school when we celebrate Book Week with a parade and multi-age rotations is absolutely electric. It's a time when the entire school community comes alive with the magic of storytelling. As the week draws near, you can feel the anticipation building among students of all ages. The day of the parade is like stepping into a fantasy world – a kaleidoscope of characters from beloved books converging in one place. The joy on the faces of our students as they strut down the "literary runway" in their carefully chosen costumes is contagious.

After the parade, the multi-age rotations kick in, and it's a whirlwind of adventure. Older students become mentors, guiding their younger counterparts through the pages of different books, igniting their imaginations and love for reading. The bonds that form between students of varying ages during these rotations are heartwarming to witness. It's not just about celebrating literature; it's about fostering a sense of unity and the idea that no matter our age, we can all share in the enchantment of stories. Book Week is a testament to the enduring power of books to inspire, educate, and bring us all together in a shared love of the written word.

The circus incursion proved to be an extraordinary and enriching experience for our students. Beyond the awe-inspiring performances and the colourful spectacle, it provided numerous educational and personal benefits. Students developed a profound appreciation for the art of circus, witnessing the dedication and hard work required to perform astonishing feats. Additionally, it fostered teamwork and collaboration as students engaged in circus activities together, emphasising the importance of support and cooperation. The incursion also encouraged physical fitness and an active lifestyle, inspiring students to explore their own physical potential. Most notably, it boosted self-confidence and self-expression as students discovered their unique talents, reinforcing the idea that with determination, they can achieve greatness. This circus incursion was not only a captivating event but a transformative journey of growth and discovery for our students.

It's clear from these pictures that the staff throughly enjoyed being in the circus.

The Grandparents Mass and the subsequent BBQ lunch were truly heartwarming occasions that radiated warmth, love, and togetherness. Beginning with the Mass, the sacred atmosphere of the church was filled with a sense of reverence and gratitude as grandparents and their grandchildren gathered to celebrate both faith and family. The Mass allowed for a beautiful exchange of wisdom, experiences, and spiritual values between generations, reinforcing the significance of our shared beliefs.

Following the Mass, the joy and festivities continued at the BBQ lunch. It was a time for everyone to relax, unwind, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Grandparents shared stories and laughter with their grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. The aroma of sausages filled the air, symbolising not just a feast for the stomach but also a feast for the heart. The BBQ lunch exemplified the importance of family gatherings, where generations can bond, celebrate, and strengthen their connections. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and the understanding that the legacy of family and faith is one of life's most treasured gifts.

The atmosphere within our school has been buzzing with excitement as students have dedicated countless hours to practicing diligently for the upcoming school production: 'Story Time Showdown'. Their commitment and passion have been nothing short of inspiring. From early morning rehearsals to late-night script readings, our students have poured their hearts and souls into perfecting their roles. The joy of seeing their characters come to life, the thrill of mastering complex choreography, and the pride in memorising their lines have fuelled their enthusiasm. The anticipation for the performance is electric, and the students are eagerly counting down the days until they can step onto the stage and share their talent and hard work with the school community and their families. The school production has become a beacon of pride, showcasing not only their artistic abilities but also their dedication and perseverance in the pursuit of excellence.
