Chinese Culture Week 

On July 27, our Chinese students celebrated Chinese Culture Week through calligraphy and Dragon Dance activities. 

Xu Laoshi, esteemed calligraphy expert, came to teach us about the history of calligraphy, the five styles of calligraphy, and correct stroke order. Xu Laoshi also gifted our Confucius Classroom some of his own calligraphy. Xiexie!

Gong and Tai Laoshi came to teach cooperation and the art of the dragon dance, often seen at Chinese New Year. The students decided their moves, and then practiced a choreographed routine, while learning the key vocabulary.
