School Production

 

Last week we saw the students perform in our whole school production at Eltham High School. What a fabulous 2 nights! It was a brilliant show, with our students demonstrating high levels of confidence, persistence and organisation to successfully perform in front of a large audience. A huge thankyou to the staff at Monty for all of their hard work to prepare our students for the show. It takes a lot of time, a lot of effort and the whole team to contribute to ensure a successful night. We hope the families enjoyed watching it as much as we enjoyed putting it on.

 

Interschool Sport

 

Congratulations to the Mixed Cricket team who won the Interschool Sport final last Friday. It was a freezing cold day but our players rose to the occasion, showing great determination and teamwork to come away with the win. We wish them all the best as they compete at the next level early in Term 4.

 

Staffing update

 

We are very happy to confirm that Mr Kevin Wilcockson will be returning to teach Grade 1C next term. We are sure you join us in extending our gratitude to Ms Sophie for looking after the grade so well for the past term. Ms Lou Williams will also be returning in Term 4 to take some regulary class covers. And finally, (our missing Principal) Mrs Worsam, after having been successfully 'found' in the production, will be back with us at the start of Term 4 after her extended leave.

 

A message from Ross

 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Monty Primary School community for giving me such an incredible experience over the past term and a half. You have an amazing school that everyone should be extremely proud of and it is certainly a wonderful environment to work in. I know that you will continue to achieve great results with happy, successful students and a supportive parent community. The staff at Monty are a fabulous group who are one of the major reasons that the school is such a wonderful place. Thanks for all your kind messages, lovely support and I wish you all the best for the future.
