COMMUNITY NEWS

RITCHIES MOUNT ELIZA

Hi Danni,

As we receive so many requests for sponsorship and donations every day, we made the decision 30 years ago that all of our sponsorship and donations are allocated through Ritchies Community Benefit Program.

To date Ritchies has paid in excess of 52.8 million dollars to local community groups, clubs, schools and charities so you will understand that it is difficult to offer any extra sponsorship/donations outside of this program.

Mount Eliza High School have been one of our beneficiaries of our loyalty program for many years now and to date have received $86,481.19 from Ritchies. Our loyalty program is such an easy way to raise funds for your school with no costs involved.

If you would like some marketing material to share with your staff and families of your students to encourage others to shop at Ritchies, register the app or card and nominate your school to benefit  let me know and I can send that through to you.

Since the changeover of the new Ritchies card program there have been 132 people that have either downloaded the app or picked up a card in store, registered and then nominated your school as their choice of beneficiary.

Best wishes,

Penny.

The annual Poppy Appeal is only weeks away and the Mornington RSL will organise the Appeal for our district which includes Mornington, Mt Martha, Mt Eliza and Moorooduc.

We plan to make the Poppies available to Schools from Monday 23th October and collect any unsold poppies and proceeds from the sales in the week beginning 13th November. You have supported us in the past and I hope you will assist us again this year.

It would be appreciated if you would remind parents and students in your School Newsletter of the availability of poppies for students and parents.

It is requested that the name of the staff member who will be responsible for the sales of the poppies within the school is given to us. This will assist our distribution of the poppies and the collection of the proceeds.

We also seek your assistance and understanding to inform students of the significance of Poppies and Remembrance Day to Australia.

Regards
