F/1 Literacy

The F/1 students' grammar focus this week was 'Prepositions'. Although it's a really big word and difficult to say, they are able to use prepositional language without even realising it! Well done guys.

F/1 Inquiry

Without giving too much away, our F/1 students have been busy creating their Finger Puppet Theatres, ready for their Fairy Tale retell. They had some help from their buddies this week and it's exciting to see their amazing creations coming to life. The F/1 classes will showcase their Inquiry Creations on Friday 13th of December at 2.30pm.

Grade 2

In Maths we have been learning about money. Students have been adding up coins and notes and working out the change they would received. Mrs Harvie showed the students what money used to look like when she brought in some old coins. 

During Inquiry lessons we have been practising following directions and writing instructions. Students put their creative hats on and were set the task of creating their own robots and other items out of playdough.  

We have had lots of fun at the Aged Care this week with students and residents making bookmarks.
