Auxiliary News

As the year comes to the close with the many, many events that parents and students attend, it is timely to thank the many volunteers that have assisted the Auxiliary in support of these events across the year.

At our recent AGM, we farewelled Jo Sanfilippo from the Treasurer position as she leaves the TC community following the graduation of her son, Antonio – our heartfelt thanks to Jo for all her work in ensuring we managed our budget well!

We welcome Tamara Gray onto the Committee as our new Treasurer, and together with Georgia Moore, Cherie Murdoch, Cara Little, Julia Sertorio, Heidi Allison, and Sarina Latouche, we are looking forward to 2025 and all things Auxiliary.

In preparation for 2025, we are seeking new general committee members to join us. General members attend meetings and assist with planning/execution of events, without the additional role of being an executive committee member. Meetings are held on Monday mornings at 8.30am at the College, twice per term, and we are looking forward to having Junior and Secondary School parents join us. Please feel free to contact  me if you are interested in joining the Auxiliary. Our first meeting will be on Monday 10 February at 8.30am (Boardroom, Level 3, Cultural Centre).

As the College has several events requiring support at the beginning of the term, we are trialling the use of Sign up Genius to request volunteers. All opportunities to assist across Term 1 events are listed online, and we look forward to filling each slot. Please use the following button to access our volunteer sign-up platform.

On behalf of the Auxiliary committee and myself, we wish the College community a merry and holy Christmas, and a restful summer break.

Mrs Melanie Day

President, TC Auxiliary

Legacy Bricks

In 2025, the Trinity College Parent Council (TCPC) will provide graduating students and Old Boys a tiny plot of TC real estate by way of a 'brick paved legacy'. Below is a sample brick design, showing the Three Crowns, the graduate name, and the year of graduation. Watch this space and the TC social media channels for your chance to be part of the foundational paving blocks of what will be a successful TCPC fundraising initiative.

TC Wellness Dog

Welcome, Teddy!

We are excited to announce the launch of the Dogs Connect program in our school. This is a whole school wellbeing program which will see the introduction of a wellness dog into our community. Our school Wellness Dog will become a much loved and important member of our community, and we will meet them in 2025.

Please be assured that this program will not include anyone who does not wish to be involved. We know this will have a really positive impact on many people. If you would like to know more about this program, please check out the link below.
