Creating Futures Together

Exciting Start to Our High School Musical Production!

We’re thrilled to announce the start of the High School Musical production process, and what a spectacular beginning it’s been! This year’s school production promises to be a memorable one, bringing together our talented students, dedicated staff, and supportive community.

The first day of auditions was packed with energy and excitement as students auditioned for lead roles throughout the day, followed by an ensemble audition after school. The panel included some very special members: our alumna Abigail Butcher, who starred in a lead role in our past production of Chicago, Nick Gramatakos, our production manager, and Annie Stone, our voice and instrumental teacher. Their expertise, passion, and support made the auditions both encouraging and challenging, setting the stage for an unforgettable show.

Before the ensemble warm-up, our principal, Fern Brisbane, addressed the students with inspiring words, reminding them of the pride we feel in their commitment to both their talent and academic success. This was followed by a heartfelt welcome from Khairi Razaai, our Visual and Performing Arts Leader, who encouraged each student to give their all and savour the journey ahead.

As the students auditioned, their excitement and enthusiasm were palpable. Every year, the school production provides real-life learning that extends beyond the stage. From camaraderie and teamwork to compromise and the shared joy of creative success, our students experience personal growth and form lasting friendships.

Stay tuned for updates as the cast is finalized and rehearsals begin! We’re looking forward to sharing every step of this journey with you as we work towards another fantastic school production.
